As we celebrate National Mentoring Month this January in the United States, I encourage you to thank those who have mentored you personally and professionally over the years. Let your mentors know how their professionalism, ethics, advice, and insights have inspired and helped you.
Next, I challenge you to seek opportunities to become a mentor as well. Share your wisdom with others, especially young people. This experience is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. And, it is an awesome way to develop deep and lasting relationships.
I believe that everyone, no matter who they are or where they are from, desires the opportunity to connect and learn from others. Mentoring is a fantastic way to share diverse experiences and become more accepting and appreciative of the differences and similarities we find in each other. Without this formal and informal process, humankind would not have progressed as far as it has.
What has been your best mentoring experience? Were you the mentor or the mentee? How has it changed your life? What recommendations do you have for others who want to become a mentor or find a mentor?
While we have set workshops you can choose from we also can customize workshops to your desires. Contact us to learn more about how we can custom-fit a workshop for your business.
