The Accuracy in the Workplace workshop was formerly known as Accurate Data Transfer. Identify your most common error patterns. Learn techniques for improving concentration, clustering and processing data such as names and addresses, alphanumeric data, and punctuated numbers. Learn techniques for listening to data given verbally while also improving your transferring and proofreading skills. This class uses pen and paper, rather than keyboards, to emphasize the specific visual and perceptual techniques taught. Using a variety of multimedia experiences, it focuses on the brain’s perception of the information and reinforces accuracy by applying the techniques learned through a series of tasks similar to those that are seen regularly on the job.
This is a 7-hour, skill-and-drill course which is typically delivered over two consecutive mornings. This schedule allows employees to return to their normal work in the afternoons and apply what they have learned. Then, the next day, the participants have an opportunity to discuss with the trainer how their new skills worked in the “real world.” Employees who complete our accuracy training typically reduce their errors by 59% and increase their processing speed by 7%.
